I make bad decisions.

NASA is ending the shuttle program in 2010, 2011 at the latest.
They are still trying to develop something else for the future, forget the name of the project. http://news.cnet.com/8301-19514_3-10218473-239.html |

NASA is a HUGE waste of your money, $17.3 billion in 2008.
Constellation program - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Would be nice if nuclear power could be controlled, like in submarines. Edit : http://www.milkandcookies.com/link/129948/detail/ |

NASA is great, but should not be gov't funded.
Accidents will happen, but we can't look to an isolated incident (Chernobyl) to determine whether or not to use nuclear power. It's actually an amazing thing and should def be used. |

Chernobyl was a shitty dated Russian built piece of shit, nuclear power, with the right safety regulations is an easy way of having enough energy for everyone, very cheap energy and given proper disposal (Yucca mountain) doesn't fuck up the world.
If you watch the P&T, Nasa broke their own safety regulations, killing a few people, who's responsible for this? the government/everyone. Three Mile Island was also designed shitty. |

Interesting. I'd love to hear your reasoning behind this.

Uranium is not as bad as you think.
It is transported via lorry, if something happened where the contents were unloaded, they could be picked up (would advise a nuclear suit, but its not going to affect anything further than a few metres) Transport of Radioactive Materials cliffs : * About twenty million consignments of all sizes containing radioactive materials are routinely transported worldwide annually on public roads, railways and ships. * These use robust and secure containers. At sea, they are generally carried in purpose-built ships. * Since 1971 there have been more than 20 000 shipments of used fuel and high-level wastes (over 80 000 tonnes) over many million kilometres. * There has never been any accident in which a container with highly radioactive material has been breached, or has leaked. |

I'll say it again, I think NASA is great. I just don't think the gov't (taxpayers) should be forced to fund it.
Humans will only stop waging war on themselves once they realize our species is more important than our ethnicity. |

![]() The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter.
