As mentioned (but not invented by, thanks to ID for that) by Blonde in a different thread, Nubblies Holidays are a great idea.

The first official Nubblies Holiday comes on a somber note. Remembering a good poster and asset of the board's past, Nubblies celebrates the life of Lucy Fur on the day that it tragically ended, April 20.

Along with this, I'm sure many of us will remember the day that Iranian hackers took over Nubblies. The only thing that saved the board from certain doom was a superhero hacker that called himself h4x0r. His gracious and selfless acts occurred on February 23. As such, we'll celebrate this day in his honor.

If you have any suggestions for other Nubblies holidays, please make your ideas known below.

Are we remembering this right? What was his motivation for saving nubblies?

If I remember correctly, he knew the perpetrators and thought they were lame and so he decided to hamper their plans to put their proverbial penis in the proverbial asshole of nubblies.

Indeed correct.

Perhaps he was more motivated by thwarting newbz than helping Nubblies. Either way, it is because of him that we're around as we are. For that, he deserves a day.
