Will festivus be going on this year to continue with tradition?

I don't know. The last couple of years I've tried to incorporate new things and they've kind of backfired. Plus, last year we had a dip in attendance. Last year people only came because Stab's party was cancelled. If there's interest, I'd gladly throw it at my parents' house again, but I'd like to have a Nubblies contest for the Feats of Strength (somehting Orgazmo agreed to last year, and didn't deliver).

I guess we could also celebrate early and have a party down here in Muncie. It wouldn't be on the right day and I wouldn't have the pole, but we could drink.

Okay, since you two seem to have forgot, not all of us speak "Muncie" so i'm going to take a stab at it and say Festivus is a party of sorts for Nubblies members, complete w/ challenges and games in pursuit of a Golden N (s) yes?

then again i just assume this, in which I make an ass out u and me. I would sooooo be the life of the party if I attended, and that is not an assumption, hard fact.

UB, George Sherman, and I have celebrated Festivus for 6 years now. It originated long ago, but was popularized by the television series 'Seinfeld'. Around three years ago, we decided to make a post about it on Nubblies and invite them to the festivities. Our first celebration consisted of the three of us. The next year there were four, then 5. After involving Nubblies the numbers grew to around 15 and 20 before droping back down to around a dozen last year.

Officially it has nothing to do with Nubblies or Muncie (since we were in high school when we began celebrating). It's all about friends getting together and having a good time.

I think we should stick with tradition and get enough people to have it at tonguegina's like previous years. As a matter of fact I will make a poll and then the people of nubblies can come to a decision. I think we should have festivus, no need to break a 6 year tradition.

Well, that's where I'm going to be on the 23rd. Like I said, I'd like to throw it down here, but I'm not going to be in Muncie that late because frankly this place sucks.

I don't think that makes any difference because I have been involved with this site for a good amount of time. You were not at festivus last year. As for not regularly posting, ask everyone what happened when i would regularly post.

Thats one of the dumbest things you can say. Its like those stupid commercials, Diet Dr. Pepper tastes more like regular Dr. Pepper than the real thing! You go to IU, thats as "Indiana" as it gets. Plus I was smart enough to leave Ohio for college unlike apparently all of you.
