The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. But I should mean that every man should receive those papers and be capable of reading them. |

DJFC I might not be a fatcat banker like you, but it is surprising to me that a large buyer (you) entered the market and somehow the price has dropped. Is this due to external macro conditions (cheaper labor at lightbulb farms, decreased demand for seeing things) or are lightbulbs somehow a giffin good (demand negatively correlated with price)?

Dunno, but I just missed the offer. I was thinking to myself: these things are .06, I should order a couple hundred. So I logged onto Amazon.co.uk and finally the price has risen... to 1.23!!!

While I have stopped updating this thread, I have not stopped ordering the lightbulbs. Everyday a .10 GBP lightbulb shows up at my desk at work.

I think I asked before, but can't remember: is it the same delivery man (or woman) every day delivering a single small lightbulb? Because if so, holy fucking hell that is hilarious.

I'm still ordering an item every day. I've amassed quite a few lightbulbs and have moved on to cookie cutters. I'll post a picture some day.

Today I recieved a box of 30 Orange sim cards with documentation for each. That's a lot of weight and a decent sized box. Total cost of the delivery to me: .30.

Not as dilligent as before, and Amazon has caught on to a lot of the items. I was doing .06 lightbulbs, now I do .40 crayons or boxes of sim cards. I get maybe 3 packages a week.
