Im actually thinking about getting a PS2 in the next day or so. I was wondering if any of the latest final fantasy's are worth getting? To me they just seem to get gayer and gayer. Ive never played them though so I cant verify.
I know the older ones, even though I never played them, didn't seem this way. And from looking and breifly playing, final fantasy tactics seemed the most fun to me, although thats for ps1. In fact, I just ordered the game offline since I couldn't find it at any local stores. Only ps1 games they sell anymore are used, and it wasnt in any of the stacks.
Oh also I was wondering. In order to get the most out of the final fantasy games, should I have been playing them in order? Is the history from other games going to make the game make no sense to me?
