Was a really good read, and I don't even follow pro ball at all.

Interesting take on stats/probabilities.

But could they swing from Battier's nuts any harder?

He wrote another book called "The Blind Side" that was really good imo. About this ghetto kid discovered by these rich white people who nurtured him into becoming a badass left tackle (he'll go first round NFL draft in a couple months). It also examines the evolution of that position and how now it's one of (if not the) most important position on the field despite getting no attention from the fans.

Thanks for the rec' GWB. I'll pick up this one on Amazon.

edit: Ah... didn't realize this is just an article and not a book.

	The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers, or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. But I should mean that every man should receive those papers and be capable of reading them.
