As ID so gloriously suggested in another thread, we'll be taking a camping trip together.

Everything is up in the air right now. Let's use this thread to bring everything together.

Who is interested? As of now, ID, UB, and I have shown interest.

I'd be down... my friends and I take multiple overnight canoe trips down the eel river. If we could get together a few canoes to do one it is a helluva time.

I assure you guys river trips are about 10 x more fun then general camping. Getting completely bombed on the river in the sun and then setting up camp eating and doing the same thing is about one of my favorite things in the world.

I'd say our chances for actually seeing this thing happen go up by doing it in Indiana. I've been to Turkey Run a few times myself when I was a kid. I can imagine going back as an adult would yield a significantly greater time. Basically it works how BDH said: float down river, drink, stop, set up camp, eat, repeat the next day if you want to.

Looping it in with FF draft next year isn't an awful idea... but the thought of waiting until next August sucks.

I've got a tent that comfortably sleeps 6 but I was planning on saving it for just ID's sister and I.... might want to move your tents down away unless you want to hear noises similar to a opossum squealing after it gets hit by a car
