It's that time of year again. It's time for dudes to dress like awesomes and bitches to dress like sluts. It's time for Halloween.

Go ahead and use this thread to kick around ideas or to post pictures of your dressed self.

Last year I went as a bear. This year I'm going as a horse.

I got the mask in the mail today and it is everything I had hoped. The only problem is that I'm not sure whether I should go casual (with a hoodie), or kick it up a notch (with a suit). Each has a few pro's and con's. The hoodie, while much more comfortable and less cared about when inevitably covered in beer, lacks a certain...something. Sure, it covers up the problem areas of the mask well (where its neck ends and mine begins), it just doesn't quite do what the suit does. The yin to the hoodie's yang, the Suit gives the feeling of extra effort. Of course, comfort is a slight issue...but I think I'll live.

Here are some pics. Yes, that's a Walking Tall movie poster in the background. It gives me inspiration to keep going.

So...what do you think? I'm not opposed to going with a completely different wardrobe either...so long as it ups the creepiness a bit.

That thing is the shit in a suit. You HAVE TO wear the suit. That gets my vote for best costume 2008, and I haven't even seen other costumes.

yeah, i was going to say go for the suit for sure...even before I saw it. Now that I have, fucking definitely.

I really don't have anything elaborate for this year, I was thinking of just going as something as simple as Clint Eastwood, circa fistful of dollars era. Cowboy hat, poncho and a cigar...I think I could pull it off, especially since I have a pretty decent Clint-like beard going on right now.
