that would be a blatant misuse of power. i saw this tv show once when i was a kid, where this one kid got approached by some knight or something who gave the kid excalibur, and told him not to abuse the power, and then this girl this kid liked ended up liking his friend, then the kid used the power of excalibur to beat up the kid, then he lost excalibur. then the kid realized the error of his ways and made good with his friend, but i don't think he got excalibur back. Oh it was also in present day suburbia (90's then) and the kid kept excalibur under his bed.

This is most undoubtedly Highlander you are talking about. You must chop off the head because highlanders w/Excaliburs are invulnerable basically.
