Ive talked about gas a little bit in another thread, but its a pretty big issue for me right now, so ill make it its own thread.

Gas prices here in lower eastern michigan are horrible... In my town they have been around 1.85 for the past few weeks. Generally I wouldn't care too much about gas prices, but just this year I got my own car, and its really starting to affect me now. Especially now that the new school is a longer drive, and I have no job.

So, how are gas prices where you live?

They've eased back down to under $1.50 a gallon around here again. It's nice.

My dad works in Toledo Ohio, and can get it for around 1.65 there, so maybe the further south, the cheaper it gets.

Here in Decatur, I haven't checked the gas prices, because I haven't needed to. You know why? Because I don't have a car down here.

But you wanna know something? I have plenty of friends who do have cars. And you wanna know something else? They hardly really ever use them. You wanna know exactly why that is? Because there's nothing in Decatur that is worth the drive. Except for maybe the bowling alley right off campus, but shit, we can walk to that....

It honestly jumps 15 cents depending on the part of the city you are in combined with what day it is. It seems pricing is based on position of the moon, rotation of venus, and things of that nature in the nap.

I saw regular gas for $3.69 here in Los Angeles the other day....

Cant believe another 31 cents and gas would be $4.00! Thank god I take the subway

I can't believe you're annoyed about paying $1.85... Over here in the UK it is £4.00 a gallon, thats like $7.50 a gallon. It is seriously beyond a joke how high the prices are for fuel.

The UK is gay. It was good before thousands of immigrants came and took over. Taxes are so high and the law is fucking stupid over here. I'm planning on moving to the US or Canada someday... Maybe California, or like up in British Colombia.
