Topic: "Police Harrassment"
Yesterday, September 9, 2005 at around 4:30 P.M. while I was walking home from the Minneapolis Community and Technical College, a white car pulled up by me a block from Webster Open School in Northeast Minneapolis. A white male in the car started saying something which I couldn't make out to be, not being sure if this was someone asking for direction or one of those occasional harassment you get once in a while, I was hesitant when the guy instructed me to come closer. His voice tone starts to sound more aggressive and was asking something so I got closer to see what he have to say and was confused with his questioning about a fight and some scratch marks he said was all over my back (I had my shirt off). Finally after cautiously looking him around I spot a little sign that says police on his outfit. He got out of the car and started asking where I got into a fight which I told him that I was walking from MCTC, he then asked “did you got into a fight with your girlfriend?”, insisting in his assumption that I’ve gotten into a fight. He then asked why I have all these marks on my back which I told him that I get scratch induced skin rash marks easily and that’s probably what it is if anything in which he asked if I have a diagnosis. My left hand position was between my left pocket and zipper at the time which he quickly told me to put my hands on the car, in the confusion and speed of all this, my reaction was kind of slow and he pulled out his gun pointing at me, holding it with a 145 degree angle tilt. He was saying “I have no problem pulling the trigger” while instructing me to move my legs backward while keeping my hands on top of the car. After putting the handcuffs on me and taking my ID out of my wallet from the left pocket he went back to the car to check it out then got out and let me go, saying “Next time when a police officer talks with you, don’t put your hand in your pocket, didn’t realize I was a police officer? I hope you’re telling the truth about coming back from school and wasn’t in a fight” then told me he just had my name down. I got home and asked my dad to look at my back to see if there’s any marks which he didn’t really see any, then I look at the mirror and saw two almost invisible small scratch induced skin rash marks in my lower back which is typical. Well of course I didn’t realize he was a police officer, perhaps next time he should clearly identify himself so that people can make sure their hands are not anywhere near their pockets when he talks to them and won’t think it’s some weird kidnapper or something. I’m not sure if this is a newly trained officer or a racist but how am I supposed to know if someone’s a cop when they don’t clearly identify themselves visually or verbally? Innocent people are bound to be killed if we have more of this undercover police vehicle with un-uniformed officer, not identifying himself and pulling a gun on a puzzled citizen, threatening to pull the trigger. In the absence of knowledge of someone’s police status of course people are going to be reluctant to cooperate and possibly get shot for say attempting to fight or flight from someone they thought a criminal. If undercover police officers stopping people continues to be a guessing game where they don’t have to identify themselves, then anyone can pose as a cop, get a gun, a handcuff and go pick up some hot young women. Think about it. Some of my white American friends went as far as to speculate that this might be a racist cop motivated by the Chai Hang incident and saying that this should come to the attention of the media. I’m not interested in fighting out a problem as small as this as I have bigger problems to deal with but I do however want the Minneapolis Police Department’s opinion on this incident as clearly according to code 5-104.01 of the Minnesota law enforcement code of ethics, this particular officer did not identify himself and definitely wasn’t too respectful. sounds like a shitty situation, I really am sad to hear about things like this. That police officer was very unprofessional and its a shame that you did not get his name that way things could be taken care of.
As you stated he should have clearly identified himself from the start. It will be interesting to see the reply from the department, please post it if they do so. |

Schroeder, I wish I could kick you in the face through the monitor. But that's beside the point.
What I've noticed is that you really have to judge them on a case by case basis. Some are really nice people trying to make a difference, while others can be dick-faces with bad attitudes. And Freedom. I hate you. That is all. |

I accept all backlash for the following statement:
If I ever saw schroeder in real life, I think I'd have to beat his ass. First of all his appearance is just begging for it, but aside from that he's one of the most annoying people (I'm sorry, "athlete") I've ever see. I honestly think the beating would do him some good. I wouldn't hurt him bad physically, just stomp his pride around a little bit. A little humiliation may go a long way for this kid. One good beat down from me, and he might be spared the beat down from some actually pissed at him. |

Creeping around as I please nonchalantly like any other Supreme Emperor might.

Now, about the seeing myself in real life: Ironic, you don't know a great deal of people here in real life, but I would say that not one person on here is as big a deusche bag in real life as he is through his nubblies avatar. Do I talk as much shit in real life? Not hardly. However, do I lead a better life than most Nubblites in real life? Hell yes. I'm so sqeauky clean most of the time I can get away with stuff that I have done wrong. Also, I accomplish more by Tuesday than most Nubblites will in a week. So, despite my hated status on nubblies (which I don't care about), I'm great in real life (which I do care about).

You spend god knows how long lurking on a message board, not posting, assumably because nobody likes you. It seems you post intermittently just to say something that you know will garner some well-needed attention for yourself. Yet you still claim to not care about what people here think of you. I've dealt with people like this on different message boards and in real life. It seems like we have a first class, Grade A, attention whore. This guy claims he doesn't care about what people think of him on here, yet he defends himself when he gets called out. Actions speak louder than words, Schroeder. You talk down to the people who post here when I'm sure you sit here and read all their escapades they post and wish they were things you did. Get the fuck over yourself. You're no better than anyone else on nubblies and real life. I'd straighten this out more but I don't have any more time to post. This is a mess I know, pick it apart, I don't care. Just know that you're going to be in the same boat you're in right here on nubblies the rest of your life schroeder.

Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing.
