As much as I want to IU to win and think that they matchup well. Wisconsin has won something like 45 out of the last 46 at home with there one loss coming to currently undefeated and #1 Illinois. Odds are Wisconsin will win, but with the way IU is playing and the way they matchup I could see IU pulling the upset.

Look for D.J. White to have a huge game tonight, Wisconsin has nobody (and I mean nobody) that can matchup with him. Wilkinson simply is just not athletic enough to matchup with him.

Don't be fooled, his original projection was outrageous, something like 80s to 50s, I remember reading it.

Not one to usually bitch about these things, because well, it's just part of the game, but the officiating was especially in favor of Wisconsin toward the home stretch. But this does not excuse ball hog Wright from hurrying shots when the rest of our team was hot hot hot.

This was one of the most tense games I've ever watched.

I love how you guys are harping about the leading scorer in the Big10 and how soon you forget he just dropped 32 on then #9 MSU nearly single handedly leading us to victory (along with DJ), give the guy a break.

On another note I too know how hard of a job it is for officials but that was one of the poorest officiated games I've ever witnessed. 22-11 fould discrepency?? Down the last 5 min. of the game they were absolutely horrible especially in the last minute and a half. The phantom foul on Wilkinson was absolute bullshit (Vaden's 5th) and then the no call with Wilmont was ridiculous.

It was really sad to know we played well enough to win and that the referee's really did have a big impact at the end of the game.

Like I said Schroeder, I don't do this often if ever, because it's become worn out to the point that it's assumed that referees have no bearing on the outcome of sports because they are blamed inevitably by someone.

Well that's a damn shame because we come to cases like this where Indiana was abused by the officiators heavily.

The announcers saw it, and so did I. You can always expect officiating to favor one team over the other (they are never perfect) but last night was rediculous and it might have just been what cost Indiana the game.

First of all, Bracey is our best player and our only shot at beating a good team. Secondly, it was a poor called game overall, but we didn't get robbed. There's no reason to bicker about specific bad calls. Exception being when it's a fucking fumble, motherfuckers. Either way Indiana is going to put together 3 straight wins and get into the tournament. This is the best we've played all year.

You all make good arguments. I'll concede to GNasty and say it wouldn't hurt to keep Bracey for the remainder of this year, but don't be fooled, come next year he won't be the one steering this team.

Interesting side note, referee Rick Hartzell (the fat bald headed white ref that made the terrible calls down the end (foul on wilkinson)) is actually also the Athletic Director at Northern Iowa who just so happens to be squarely on the bubble (along with IU). Seems slightly fishy seeing as it would do nothing but make his school have better odds with IU losing not to mention all of the revenue and attention his school will get if Northern Iowa makes the tournament.
