Basically, if you don't want to read this article, here is what's happening:
Starting in the 2006 NFL season, MNF will be shown on ESPN, and thus no longer ABC. This will mean a huge drop in ratings for Monday Night Football. But, ESPN loses its right to showing the Sunday night game, because now NBC will be airing the Sunday night game; which appears to be the future of "big stage" regular season football now. That's about it. NBC wins big, ESPN wins a little, ABC (which I realize is the same as ESPN and Disney and what not) loses big time. It'll be kinda weird not having Monday Night Football on ABC. -Ugly Bastard |

I'm glad this is happening.
Hopefully the networks will air more shitty reality TV shows (how about 'The Life of a Janitor' 'Schism - Catholics vs. Protestants' or 'Who wants to be a porn star') and people will finally realize how shitty these shows are and the networks will finally die. |
