The Nubblites played well against the "fat team," landing them a 47-40 victory. The game wasn't nearly as close as the score would have you believe, as the Ites were up 18 at one point in time but began firing off three point shots without regards in the final half of the 2nd half.
All in all, the Nubblites played a good game. Led by the masterful play of Trout Sniffer, the Ites really didn't have much trouble with AAO. Along with this, there was quite a cheerblock there for the Nubblites, something that's always welcome. You, yes you, are encouraged to come out to all the games. Support will never be turned down. Next up is The Celtics (the "bad" junior team). It will happen at 4:00 pm. Show up if you're a true Nubblite. |

The Lumberjacks were successful against the "And None's"(Celtics("bad junior team"))". We beat them 74-58 in which was a very closely contested game. At one point the Celtics were beating the Lumberjacks 51-50 with 10:00 min. to go in the game. However we rallied together for a very hard fought victory. I don't think we should even call them bad because this team was very tough and is for real.
I believe Fuller had around 20 pts., conley had around 17, and toney had around 15 to lead the Lumberjacks. It was a very well played team effort and I wish the Nubblites luck against the And None's because they are a very good team behind the strong guard play of Adam Klotz and Ben Brodhead. :::BDH::: |

Today's game truly was something to actually witness. Trout Sniffer was our big lynchpin for the game....this man was all over the fatties and it showed. Big props also go out to pliedes who took some cheap shots from the fatties. Nice work.
All in all, it was great to be there, and the cheerblock was quite large. And now that I've kinda got the whole scoreboard thing down, I'd be happy to keep helping out in that area. There were some kinks I had to work out with stopping the clock and figuring out the set stuff and everything, but all in all, I was proud to help out the team in any way I could. God knows I'm more valuable off the court than on. |

Combat Chuck, a great Thank You goes out to you from the entire Nubblies team for helping with the scoreboard, it was greatly appreciated and you did a very nice job.
The game today was pretty much a blowout after the first 10 minutes. Although my name has been mentioned a few times, I can not take credit for the win. Without John Antram, Pliedes, and the rest of the team, we could not have pulled out this win. I would like to thank many of the Lumberjacks (excluding BDH) for being part of our cheer block. I will be there for you next week if you just tell me the time. As for you BDH, you're a piece of shit for holding their flag and their stupid little mascot and you're probably going to burn in hell for that. Next week should be a very good game against the "bad" junior team, as I have heard that they are not too bad. As long as we play well and as a team, we should be able to come out victorious. Thanks for everyone's support that was able to make it to the game. |

You obviously did not see what I did....at half time I went out on the court and threw there flag in the corner and then kicked the mascot, the Fatties are assholes, I only felt bad since they had zero supporters. I now know that not only are they fat, but there are angry fat guys. I was still wishing the Nubblites to victory regardless and supported the fatties for maybe 10 min. in the first half.

Ok, you're forgiven BDH, but you still shouldn't have held those piece of shit's flag for them. The reason they don't have any supporters is cause their only friends were on the team. They really don't have too many friends. In any event, I thank your team for their support, even though we are rivals.
Tell me what time your game is next week and I will be behind your bench cheering you guys on, unless it's at 4:00, cause that's when our game is. |

I came early to scope out some of our competition, and I watched the last few minutes of the Lumberjacks/Celtics game. I think that Brodhead might be something to look out for, but there didn't seem to be any other players that really stood out to me. Now, take into account that I only saw the last few minutes, and from what BDH says, they had a better showing until the Lumberjacks started in on their rally.
And BDH, I was also wondering what the hell you were doing even within a few feet of the AAO bench. That's some shady bizness you got going on there....watch yourself next time. [This message has been edited by Combat Chuck (edited February 09, 2003).] |

I'd like to thank everyone for their kind comments...even BDH (Thanks for coming to your senses). It was a well fought game and everyone, even the ill 50-cent, did well. I, myself, feel that I sucked ass. I apologize for not coming through for the team this week, but it wasn't needed...this time.
Oh, and by the way, a big thanks to all of the fans that came to cheer us on. It was very appreciated, I hope you all keep coming. It was great. [This message has been edited by tonguegina (edited February 09, 2003).] |

I myself am looking forward to the new "tournament" system mr. grose is contemplating to implement at the end of the seaon. He is going to seed out a bracket full of teams and then play a tourney over a two week period.
here is the seeds as I could see it: 1. Lumberjacks 1. Junior team one will be one and the other 2 3.Howard/Wilhite's team 4. Nubblites 4. Celtics again to close to call right there 6. Boomba Hey's 7. Sophomores 8. All-American Obesity 9. Bucks (the unknowns nobody knows the kids) 10. Band Team :::BDH::: |

1.)Thanks pliedes, I don't know for sure any of my stats, but I do know that I could have done alot better. People are telling me that I brought something to the game, but I just didn't feel it. I also think that my illness (that I've had for like 3 weeks) is getting worse because of the hour we spent outside during the weaponry session at the TNT Birthday Bash.
2.)I watched the first half of Howard/Wilhite's team after ours, and I wasn't really that impressed. Maybe I'm wrong. They were playing the sophomores, and I thought they could have been doing a lot better...not that they weren't dominating. 3.)The Boomba-Hey's shouldn't really talk until they play a real team. I, myself, am anxious to see how much we beat the band team by. It's our last game of the season, and we'll dominate, no question.
