I like smoking. Tobacco is tasty and enjoyable, imo.

Now for the caveat.

I never smoked at all in high school. The summer after I started smoking occasionally, which by sophomore year escalated to about 1/2 a pack (10 smokes) a day. I also drank heavily, which contributed to my enjoyment of tobacco. Around my senior year I stopped completely. I have since found that, like all things, cigarettes are best enjoyed in moderation. I now average about one pack every two weeks- one square a day, give or take.

That being said, is there anyone else on this board who also enjoys this hallowed American plant? Tobacco plays a important, nay pivotal, role in American history- and while that is not the reason I smoke, it's an important fact that our 'moral majority' likes to forget.

I don't want this thread to be a love it/hate it type deal, as you obviously you either like smoking or you don't, but I think the middle ground (ie- moderation, occasional smoking) deserves a bit of recognition.

Oh, and my favorite brand was Camel Filters (before they changed the blend and packaging).

I worked for Camel a few months before Australia. Was a pretty good job; just gave out free cigarettes in bars. If I was a smoker i can imagine myself being pretty hooked on Camels.

only time i smoke cigarettes is if I am very drunk and I'm with my friends that smoke, I'll sometimes join them.

I do however love cigars. I'll smoke a cigar about once or twice a month.

I smoked a lot of cigars in college. I don't all that often anymore, though. I kind of miss it.

I also enjoy hookah.

I think the buzz around them is overrated. "Oh man, it's like getting high." That's bull shit, but it's fun with a group of friends. Plus, I haven't tried it yet, but I hear that if you use vodka instead of water, you can get totally wasted in a very short amount of time.

My first smokeable love is Cannabis. I love Cannabis in vaporized, smoke, and edible forms. I like Cannabis out of a pipe, paper, or bong.

I smoked cigarettes on a regular basis when I was 19 till I was 20. I quit completely over a year (not one cigarette). One day I was at the bar with friends and decided to light one up as a joke. Ever since I'm a habitual cig bummer. I rarely if ever buy my own packs because I don't smoke anytime other than when I've been drinking. I haven't had a sober cigarette in close to 2 years but will have one here and there when I'm drinking.

If I do my preferences are Marlboro Lights, Camel Crush's, and Parliament Lights in that order.

P-funks are pretty solid. Good taste and I love the indented filter.

Crush's...I hate menthol's, but if there is one I would smoke, it'd be this one because you can delay the taste until the end. (only had 'em twice, I still hate menthols)

Marlboro. I must disagree with both you and ID here, cause I think the whole brand taste terrible. Cowboy-killers (reds) are a strong kick, but taste unnatural, very chemically. Same with Lights. They do have a few random blends (No. 37 comes to mind) that are decent, but other than that, Marlboro smokes are disgusting.

I am, however, a huge fan of American Spirits. They actually taste like tobacco and burn forever. Now that I think of it, I prefer most RJ Reynolds brands to Philip Morris ones.

I like marlborrow menthol milds on occasion, i'll buy a pack every now and then, smoke for a couple weeks, then not so much as think of one for a month once I realize how disgusting they are. But then all of the sudden I'll forget how unpleasant they make me feel and I'll think its a good idea buy a pack and smoke it. Then the cycle continues.

Hookahs are fucking disgusting. why not just cum in each other's mouths and trade swill?
