John Rambo

This is the thread where Orgazmo will post pictures of his new dog for us to look at. Any time you're ready, "big guy". (<--- Yotter saying since it's Festivus)

Orgazmo 12-23-2009 02:39 PM

Here is John Rambo. He is a Shetland Sheepdog. He is also a devourer of souls. And he's asleep. And I don't want to wake him up.

How is the cat handling all of this?

Orgazmo 12-23-2009 03:37 PM

The cat doesn't like change. He also doesn't like other animals. This has led him to be a bit tempermental for the past 24 hours. He is starting to come around, though. I predict a full recovery in one week's time.

It doesn't' help that the dog is in super-fucking-annoying mode to him. As in, he sees a moving tail and pounces after it/bites it. The cat doesn't have time to put up with bullshit like that. He's more of an elder sage at this point.

more pictures, faggot

Repugnant Abomination 12-23-2009 10:57 PM

Awesome. I can't wait to get a dog.

THEINCREDIBLEdork 12-23-2009 11:23 PM

Question.

Why did you pick such a shitty breed?

You mean you've been in Taiwan this whole time and you haven't had one yet?

Mr. Blonde 12-23-2009 11:53 PM

I wasn't aware elder sages were forced to wear jester collars

Ignore everything I've ever said to you, but heed this: be deliberate about getting a dog. Do you plan on staying in the same place for a decade+? If so, perhaps a dog is an okay idea for you. Do you plan on traveling, moving and being "free-spirited"? If so, do not, under any circumstances, acquire a pet.

I know it's not a smart idea to get a dog while you're abroad - that's why I haven't gotten one. We're waiting until we're back home next summer.

Very true, which makes Orgazmo the ideal pet owner as he hardly leaves the house for more than a couple hours.

f3lix 12-24-2009 02:15 PM

My dog made me realize I am in no way ready to have a kid. That's how much time they consume.

THEINCREDIBLEdork 12-24-2009 11:04 PM

i didn't know you had a dog. pics plz?

The dog was given to us by Tits' mother. Her dog was purposefully mounted by another of her kind to create the litter.

That said, I like the breed. It wouldn't have been my first choice, but, in reality, my terms for a dog were no more than "It has to be a real dog (not one of those small yappy thing) and it has to not be a dummy." This breed fits both of these. Also, it's more reasonably-sized than a breed I would have preferred (Golden, Lab, etc).

Also, we've known the dog since the day it was born. It's kind of nice to be able to say that.

He gets on the counters while we sleep. We use the collar to let him know that we're still bigger/smarter/better than he is.

Pretty sure vaga was referencing you eating dog. Have you eaten a dog yet?

don't get a dog unless you're okay with being tied down

I've had the dog for 3 days and this is already very clear. Of course, he'll get easier to deal with as he learns to shit and piss outside and stops chewing everything in sight, but, even at that point, he'll need daily care.

Get a cat if you're worried about maintenance.

Soon. Or you could just come down Sunday and play with him.

fair enough. from my experience its kind of a timid (pussy) breed, but if you fuck with it enough it might turn out to be a decent canine.

I will definitely get a cat once I get my own place, but dogs can be awesome.

Orgazmo 12-25-2009 02:01 AM

Bonus video of all the puppies. Sorry for shit quality...the original was 90mb. Guess I compressed a bit too much :(

Orgazmo 01-15-2010 03:20 PM

The dog is coming along nicely. His pissing/shitting in the house is improving daily. He's to the point where he's normally at least give an effort to go to the door before shitting elsewhere. I can appreciate that.

When he does piss on the floor, it is almost always in a spot where I later stand. Generally on tile/wood as well. He's a god damned Nostradamus like that.

His bark still makes him sound like a woman. I won't consider him a real dog until he stop yapping and starts ruffing. Did you hear that, John? You're not a real dog yet. You may never be.

He and the cat now have epic battles. The cat will take the high ground (sofa back, bar stool, etc) and paw him in the face as he relentlessly jumps at the cat. The cat will then jump down and run. The dog is almost as fast the cat now, though...so he is normally caught and cornered. This leads to the cat getting jumped on and the dog being pawed. The result is normally the cat leaping over the dog and running for high ground...where the process repeats.

Here is a pic of the little bastard with the cat cautiously looking on...

You mat have picked the wrong breed for that sir, my brother got a goddamn shelty when I was in highschool and the fucker yapped well into his adult hood.

THEINCREDIBLEdork 01-16-2010 12:24 PM

That's how they get you. Too bad the fucker is so goddam cute.

His sister, who is mere hours older (though 1.5x the size) already has a ruff. His yap is being more ruff-like, too. In fact, his half barks are now ruffs. They turn back into yaps when he goes balls-out, though :(

Too bad you are going to cut off his balls ... would think those would cause his voice to deepen a bit when they drop.

This dog of yours is starting to sound like a real pussy. Poor Tarzan would fuck his shit up if you guys wouldn't have had his paws mangled.
