I used to use the old free deadaim version for my AIM, which had the features of conversation logging (handy as hell) and window tabbing (convenient as hell). However, because I lost the ability to fileshare and direct connect over AIM, I lost the ability to do these things, and i'm not paying 5$ to use the updated Deadaim.

Is there a free download out there I can use for this function?

Have you ever tried it? It's by far the best IM program out there. It logs all your conversations, and organizes them in a very very pimp way.

If you have Trillian Pro (which can be easily stolen), you can read convos you've had with people down to a specific day of your chosing, etc. I mean, if you want to live in the stone ages and use regular old AIM, feel free, but Trillian is where it's at for people who know what's best for them.

Trillian is by far the best messaging program out there. Especially if you are able to get the pirated version of Trillian Pro. Also, if anybody knows a way to get the plugins for Trillian Pro, without paying of course, please let me know.
