This thread is being put into place as a means for Nubblites to gamble with one another...on anything. It's here mostly as a reference for when the bet reaches an outcome. It's all pretty self-explanatory.

Some basic guidelines: Editing any type of post which lays the groundwork for an Official Bet is a bad thing. Also, of course, making a bet here can't guarantee that the loser will pay; however, if they don't, you can guarantee that they'll verbally harassed quite a bit. Another thing: While simply posting "Person X bet me $100 that the Mavericks won't win the NBA Championship and I accepted" is alright...it's much better if, instead, you propose a bet to Person X in this thread, Person X then accepts the bet...and then you lay out the Official Bet in a thread of it's own...once both parties have agreed to the bet within this thread.

Go ahead and bet now.

The Suns are 30-4 as of this posting. How many games will they end up winning this season?

My Guess: 64
Ugly Bastard's Guess: 71

Our official wager:

With an over/under number of wins set at 67.5, Ugly Bastard will win $10 from Orgazmo if the Suns win more than 67.5 games in this, the 2004-2005 NBA season, whereas Orgazmo will win $10 from Ugly Bastard if the Suns win less than 67.5 games in this, the 2004-2005 NBA season.

Beebs and I have a wager on the Super Bowl, and it goes something like this:

Should the Colts win this upcomming Super Bowl, Beebs will owe me (DJ FC) a sum which shall amount to $4,000,000 (four million dollars). Should the colts not win the Superbowl (which naturally includes a lack of appearance in the Super Bowl) I (DJ FC) will owe Beebs $4,000,000 (four million dollars).

I took the bet for $5. If the Steelers pull of this win, Orgazmo owes me $25. If the Patriots hold on, I owe him $5.
