Who else watched this? It was a great card I thought.

The highlight of the night for me was watching Hughes comeback from damn near getting KO'd and getting caught in a rear naked choke, then slamming Trigg across the octagon, then choking him out....again.

All the fights were good, with only one going to decision, and the decision was an easy one.

Heres Liddell knocking Couture out to win the LHW championship

I watched it! Man it was a pretty good show if you ask me. That Hughes comeback was just ridiculous. I think he proved that he's just a level above Trigg.

I was also really impressed with St.Pierre. You know that guy is going to come back for Hughes again.

Props to Liddel. He fought a perfect fight and is very deserving of the belt. He should have had it years ago when tito was ducking him.

Over all it was entertaining, but I don't know if I should sum this all up to the massive amounts of alcohol present during little 5, but did anyone else but me notice that this whole hyped up fight only lasted about 2 minutes? I mean don't get me wrong, those were 2 badass minutes, but I would have thought Couture would have put up much more of a challenge than that.

It wasn't that he wasn't putting up a challenge, it's just that he got caught. He could have been beating the shit out of Liddell the entire fight and then got knocked out in the same fashion.

Right on Ironic, I know what your mean, I poorly phrased my words...let me correct myself by saying that I was disappointed to see Couture expose himself to Liddell like that and I guess I had a much higher expectation for the intensity of the fight. I was as surprised at Couture 2 minutes into it.

While that's true I dont think you can really claim anything from the liddel fight. There was about as much jiu-jitsu in that fight as there's good looks on ugly bastards face. Oh snap!
