If you lived in Iowa, who would you vote for to win the Iowa Caucus tonight?

I honestly don't particularly care for any of them. I voted Edwards just because he kinda seems younger and livlier than the rest of them. Basically, he's the least boring of the candidates.

John Kerry. I have followed him for a good while now, and I think he's down to Earth and cares for the American people. I want to see him as the next President.

Sense none of them stand out, I'm not voting for any of them. Not like it matters who is going to win anyway.

The Democratic primaries have nothing to do with being the next president because whatever cookie-cutter cutout that comes out of them will have assuredly much less backing from their party compared to past years as well as a population that doesn't care about their boring asses. He's malicious in his treatment of the other candidates and makes absolutely outlandish attacks against Bush (who I can't claim to be a huge fan of, but Kerry is often out of line). Besides, his policies will harm us in the international community and cripple us at home. Beyond that, he eminates an aura of pure sleaze. Maybe you can't see through it, Vol, but he puts out a very artificial vibe. Read him say fuck in his interview with MTV, or perhaps see how he handles younger voters, or maybe find out about his reaction to "Puff the Magic Dragon". Kerry tries to be cool. That's not something I want in a president, especially by someone who fails at it miserably and comes off as downright creepy.

I'd like to see Gephardt or Edwards take this one, although with the way things are going (barring economic downturn, terrorism, or failure in turning over Iraq this summer), I just don't see any of the Democrats beating Bush in November.

Fruit, do we need to start a thread on partial-birth abortion? The crux of the abortion issue is that the baby/fetus is not a person. Partial-birth abortion "partially" delivers the child and brutally murders it. Most pro-choice advocates are even against it. Honestly, how can you defend such a practice?
