As reported on hxc.com

Bleeding Through has dropped off their tour with Chimaira, Soilwork, and As I Lay Dying after being in an accident which resulted in the totalling of their van (which was on loan from Sinai Beach). Watch the wreck footage here.

Now, I really feel bad for these guys. They're out on tour, trying to make a living, and something like this happens. There seem to have been quite a few bad things happening in hardcore community lately (equitment stolen, bands breaking up, van wrecks)...

I got to thinking, there really are a lot of bands who have called it quits. Here's a few of them...

Shai Hulud
Elliott
Fairweather
Embodyment
This Runs Through
Living Sacrifice
The Death Campaign
Society's Finest
As Hope Dies
Narcisuss

This pains me to see both Elliott and Fairweather ending their stints, seeing as how both bands had well-recieved recent albums.

*sigh* At least I have a load of other bands to replace them, but they still hold a place in my heart.

The link worked for me...

That's really got to suck, I've never heard of these guys before, but for something like that to happen, that's just really unfortunate. Pliedes, do you know if they're trying to raise funds for their lost equipment or fucked up van?
