Aside from wanting to have as much profanity in the title as possible, I realized that Nubblies needs a place to post ridiculous news stories, without cluttering the news page with tons of different topics. Now when I say that Nubblies needs this thread, I actually mean that I have another news topic that might not be worth it's own thread. By starting this one, we can all post ridiculous news stories, sort of like the "Kickass ____ of the Day" threads.

So, to kick us off: How to Spend 81 billion dollars filling up your gas tank

PayPal: Fill-up wasn't $81 billion - Vehicular weirdness- msnbc.com

Long story short, a man uses his Paypal debit card (yeah, they actually do make those I guess) to pay for gas at the pump. It charged him over 81 billion dollars. The best part of this story is that the guy actually had to argue with the paypal service tech in order to get the charge removed.

I cannot stand PayPal. Their customer service sucks really hard. I make it a point to use them as sparingly as possible.

The park's dispatch center was called after someone watching a webcam on the geyser saw six employees leaving the trail and walking on Old Faithful on May 4.

The geyser was not erupting at the time.

Xanterra Parks & Resorts general manager Jim McCaleb says the former concession workers were hired at the Old Faithful Inn and that such incidents were rare.

Cab Driver Cuts His Own Head Off In Suicide

A taxi driver has decapitated himself in his black cab in what appears to have been a gruesome suicide.

Police are treating the man's death as "non-suspicious"

The man, believed to be in his 30s, tied a rope to a lamppost and the other end around his neck before driving off from the spot in Southwark, southeast London, yesterday.

His body was found by police slumped in the car - with his severed head yards away.

Police are treating the driver's death as suicide and are trying to trace his next of kin.

Officers were called at 12.40am yesterday to the horrific scene in Great Suffolk Street, where the car had crashed into a pillar.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: "Officers attended and the driver was found dead inside the vehicle.

"The death is being treated as non-suspicious."

Officers are keen to determine if the dead man was a genuine black-cab driver.
