Tonight it was confirmed that Arnold Schwarzzeneger will be running for governor of California in the upcoming recall election. What other celeberties would make good/bad politicians?

did you also hear the terrible news? Jerry Springer will not be running for Senator of Ohio as he planned. he said that "it would be too hard to do the jerry springer show and be a senator". at least i think it was Ohio...but funny none the less.

Arnold is running? Tight. It was reported that he wasn't, I stayed up to watch anyway, but fell asleep during the commercial break right before he came out. I really hope he wins that race.

I could see someone like Robert De Niro making a good Mayor of NYC.

My comfort comes in knowing that not only are you years away from gaining voting privledges, you will probably never use them.

Why the fuck would I trust an actor/celebrity? How can you determine if anything about these people is authentic? Everything they do could quite possibly be a mere performance, and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Arnold can't explain his platform at the time being. When asked certain questions about what he stands for (Today Show?!?), he claimed he was unable to hear the questions... blaming technical difficulties. It was later revealed that there were no technical difficulties. Charming.

So far from what I've heard about Arnold's platform, he doesn't sound half-bad.

A fiscal conservative, but all for the enviroment and gay rights. He's definately a moderate republican which many people could relate to...
...honestly though, maybe he'd be better for foreign policy, I think he could literally eat little Kim from Korea... [img]smile.gif[/img]
