There were quite a few good songs in this decade, so it's hard to put your finger on just five. But here is my list:

I'm going to pick from some other Nubblie-ites in here....

1) RHCP - Under the Bridge (Seriously, it's a given)

2) Radiohead - Idioteque (Issuing in a grand new Radiohead style that revolutionized the way I looked at music)

3) Ben Folds Five - Brick (Finally getting Ben some airplay)

4) Oasis - Wonderwall (Just cause it is personally one of my faves...and it deserves to be on this list anyway, so what the hell)

5) Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit (Issued in the 90's with a fucking bang! This is an anthem, pure and simple)

Well, I thought of this song the other day, and although it's not a top 5, it deserves to be mentioned.

The remixed version of "Walk this Way" by Aerosmith, featuring Run DMC.

This song revolutionized the music industry and opened doors for such bands as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters...really you name it. A lot of bands' music would most likely sound different if it weren't for the Rap and Rock fussion that occured in that song.
