How many of you guys are in debt with credit cards? I am, and i fucking hate it. But being a college student it's so hard not to have one and use it; it's not like I go shopping and shit like that, most of the charges have been for food or gifts (xmas, birthday, i have a decent sized family),necessites. My rents are helping me a lot with college but not 100%, and even with 2 part time jobs I can't seem to make ends meet. Right now i'm in the hole like 1200 bucks, which I'll pry be able to pay off kind of easy after I graduate...but that's a shit load of money for a college student on top of loans and shit.

I just don't know anybody else really who is in CC debt, they probably just aren't talking about it, but it'd still be nice to know.

I've never had a credit card, I just use real money.

I highly suggest you get college loans and pay off the credit card debt. Not only will the interest rate be lower, but they can sometimes be interest free until after you graduate.

It's a no brainer, no college student should have credit card debt, just college loans.

Yeah, 14 meals a week and $50 extra per semester are included in my tuition. You can get different plans, though.

By the way, what DJ said about the college loans is a really good idea. I think my personal finance prof. said something along those lines earlier this semester.

I do. Or at least did. I had mine maxed out ($1,250) just from living expenses as of a few weeks ago.
