Well its been awhile since i last posted on here but i figured now was better than any to check it out and see how things have been going and to also inform all of you that i am going to the Super Bowl.
I was in a contest that if you won you then recieved 2 tickets all expences paid to the BIG GAME!! Well after the first round i found myself to be in second place and this was before the Colts played the Patriots so in order to be called back for the final round the Colts had to win. Well sure enough they won and i got the phone call to come back. They called the Top 10 guys back and the winner was going to the game and sure enough i was able to take the top stop and hold on and win. I will find out tomorrow (thursday) where i will be staying and where my seats will be. I am currently still completely shocked that i won but i think once i get on the plane to Miami it will start to set it. This surely is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity and i will definatly be making the most of it. I picked these 2 teams in preseason to be in the Super Bowl which might be hard to believe but i really did. To see the Colts finally here is amazing and to be able to be there for it will be a blast. |

The contest was to sit in a recliner and recline back while holding a box of papa johns wings and throw a football as far as you could. But in order for it to count you had to keep your shoulders against the chair or else they flagged you. We got 3 attempts to throw as far as we could, my first throw was 76 ft and my second was 80 ft but i was flagged becuase my shoulder came off the chair and my last throw hit the cone that marked my first throw.
To see a video of this feat you can go to www.rtv6.com and check out the video it is on the main page and it is called armchair quarterback toss and i am the bald guy that studders and is speechless after i won. and for more info on the contest you can check out www.papajohns.com/wingit i will be taking my girlfriend so sorry to those of you that would like to go. |

Here is the link for the story and video and pictures.
http://www.theindychannel.com/superb...53/detail.html INDIANAPOLIS -- Ten Indianapolis Colts fans vied for a chance to win a trip to the Super Bowl, and one lucky fan used his arm to get a leg up on the competition. A contest on Wednesday night involved armchair quarterbacks who threw footballs while sitting down, with loved ones watching and cameras rolling, 6News' Dan Spehler reported. The winner got an all-expenses-paid trip to Miami for the game, thanks to Papa John's. "It's a huge deal, especially for us people that can't afford tickets," said Tony Vance, who hoped to win tickets. Contestants sat in a recliner with a box of wings in one hand and threw a football in an empty parking lot. The person who threw the ball the longest would win an all-expenses-paid trip to the Super Bowl. "The best throw tonight is the guy who goes to the big game," said Phil Olivencia of Papa John's pizza, who ran the contest. The first contestant, Dave Norris, didn't fare too well. "Im sure with that distance it will probably be close to last place," Norris said. Brett Moore took the lead with a throw of more than 70 feet, but had to wait as more contestants got their shot. Everyone came up short, and Moore took home the prize. "I did not think it was going to happen," Moore said. "I guess I'm speechless right now." Moore said he plans to take his girlfriend with him to the game. The same contest happened in Chicago. One day before the Super Bowl, Moore will compete against Chicago's winner to see who will be crowned America's ultimate armchair quarterback. |

This is pretty fucking cool man. I'm happy for you. Tickets couldn't have gone to a more deserving guy. Unless I found out there was some kid who is dying of cancer and has one last dream, that dream being to see his favorite team, the Indianapolis Colts, play in the Super Bowl. He would have a wheelchair and no hair. Barely able to convey his wishes. But with the smile on his face, you would know that all he wanted would be to sit in that stadium to enjoy those few precious hours of football in the weeks before his death. Maybe he would even get to meet Peyton Manning after the game. People from all over would shed tears at what a beautiful moment the young boy was able to enjoy in his final days. And then I would look at the little boy and be like "CAN YOUR LITTLE ARMS THROW A FOOTBALL 70 FEET WHILE SITTING IN A CHAIR AND HOLDING WINGS? I DON'T THINK SO, ASSHOLE!"
Then the boy would cry. Oh, would he cry. |

Well what can i say but the greatest experience of my life. It was so amazing to be at the game and watch all the Bears fans walk out of the stadium crying and saying "maybe next year", but im sorry to inform you that as long as you have Grossman who started the game as Good Rex, then turned to Bad Rex and finally we say a Train Rex.... The start of this game reminded me of the National Championship game with the kickoff return but both games turned out the right way.
As for the armchair throw competition, i got cheated out f a win, the guy from Chicago didnt keep his shoulders on the chair and i have it on tape of prove it but since i couldnt argue to much since i already had my Super Bowl tickets and it was only a 32 inch tv, i let it go. So he won the battle but we won the war. i will try to post some pics of the game in the near future. GO COLTS!!!!!!!! |

Man that sucks about the TV. So what was the feeling in the stadium amongst Colts fans on the opening kickoff? "You have got to be fucking kidding me", I'd imagine. Tell me all about it. Leave out the rest, I don't care. You might have won the war, but we won the battle, HESTER RAN BACK THE OPENING KICK ON YOUR ASSES IN FRONT OF 300 MILLION VIEWERS WOOOOHOOO!!! *Sniff*......*tear*.......fuck.
video completely captures how I was feeling. |

I (like probably every other colts fan) called the fact the Colts were gonna win, and proceeded to talk shit from the minute the ball was kicked till next year.
UB to answer your question, i would have to say that is fairly accurate, i was thinking more along the lines of "what the fuck, you have to be kidding me" and then reality hit me and i was like wait they have Rex Grossman so i am not worried. Yes 300 million people may have watched Hester run it back but 300 million people also saw how much the bear suck ass. and what a bitch Urlacher was and is for ripping of the helmet of a Colts player and throwing it down the field. Shows how much class the bears have compaired to the World Champion Indianapolis Colts. As soon as Grossman throw the first interception many bears fans left the stadium and rightfully so becuase they didnt belong there. The game that should have been the Super Bowl game but isnt possible was played 2 weeks ago, the AFC Championship game. |

I agree. That's why I propose that the Colts defeated the Patriots in Superbowl XLI, then defeated the Bears in NFC Consolation Game I. The Bears just weren't playing the same game as the Colts. The Colts were on a higher level, Devin Hester or no Devin Hester.

Or even better yet, call it the "Make a Wish Bowl - 'Where even AFC Teams can get a chance to play in a special game!'"

This is what makes me laugh. Every bear fan I have talked to is all about the HESTER return. Congrats he is an amazing returner. If that is what you hang your had on congrats, you should have won the super bowl. Have you forget that you have 11 players on offense and defense which counts as 90% of the game. You can take one special returner out of the game but you cant take 22 of your players out. If you want to fucking celebrate one guy doing something special, GO AHEAD, the Colts will celebrate a trophy and a WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
