Better yet, I'm sure your hospital has a
PR department or maybe HR that you could talk to first? They would be able to feel out whether or not it's a realistic plan for the hospital or not, also they would have media connections to give the hospital free press for doing something good.
I'm sure they do something breast-cancer related at least once a year, right?
