He had a benign tumor in his brain and had it operated on at the Mayo clinic, then it grew back some and he had another surgery this christmas at the Mayo clinic. With socialized medicine the access to what may very well be the worlds best cancer hospital/surgery center being rationed by the government due to the unchangeable laws of supply and demand, he may have not been able to get either surgery. In fact, the very existence of such a high quality institution would very likely be in jeopardy. Ever talk to a Dr about trying to collect from medicare or any other socialized medical institution? Times that by a thousand. There is a cold and undeniable truth that the health care bill will lower the level of the highest care because Doctors will get sick of dealing with the bullshit, will raise the cost for the people who actually contribute to society rather than leach off of it, all so that those who contribute nothing but what can only be called sex turds can do so more easily. Essentially it's a numbers game of getting worthless failed abortions to pop out more hanger dodgers to vote in favor of handouts at the expense of people worth a shit. | |

Aren't most the people who would possibly face said 'death committees' already on some sort government medical assistance (medicare, SS, etc)?

UB that was a really, really good article. Thank you for posting that. Mr. Jason Day just received massive amounts of respect, points, gold stars, and props from me. I really reccommend everyone read that acrticle because that guy really hits some huge points.
I especially like how he included topics directly related to health care "reform" but aren't talked about very often. Things like: the effect it will have on small businesses (really all businesses big and small), unemployment and economic growth, and, probably most importantly, tort reform. Again, excellent article. Thank you. |

Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing.

God Bill O'Reilly is such a vicious debater. Weiner held his own really well there and even still I'm sure 90% of O'Reilly's viewers probably left that interview thinking, "old Bill showed 'em again!"

That Weiner was pretty firm in dealing with O' Bill there.

Love that she keeps asking him to tell her she must have health care. Politicians are so spineless.
Odd comment from him saying we don't have the right to choose to live, die, or sleep under a bridge. The majority of homeless PREFER to be homeless and live that lifestyle (I personally can't understand it, but that's not my right to tell them what they should and shouldn't do with their life.) I do also feel I have the right to kill myself if I choose, as long as I don't take anybody with me. |

The videos were kind of funny, but not because of Jack Black. The little girl was not only a better actor than Jack Black, but also a better comedian. Congratulations, Jack Black, you were bested by an 8 year old at your own game.
