it's more the fact that you find something that somebody truly loves, then the second you hear about it/see it/experience it, you immediately latch onto it and become obsessive over it. not only that, but you make sure that everyone knows you now have an interest in it so as to make yourself seem genuinely cooler. it's quite sad really.
