I was going to pick out quotes, point out his flawed "reasoning", show where posters absolutely destroyed his arguments to which he countered with babble that made no sense but then I realized the entire thread is argument enough.

The thread

I want to start this thread because I would like to create an argument against what I have to say. Please do not post if you are not going to make any attempt to follow the argument. I would love to have someone find flaw in my reasoning, and hopefully create an interesting debate.

Once again, if this is something that doesn't interest you, then please don't fuck it up with your shitty posts.

Someone please prove to me, based on the thread he started, that active is not an idiot.

Active's actually an incredibly smart person in real life. He runs his own "server-hosting-company-dealie", and actually makes a decent amount of money, last I heard. Hell, who do you think host's this fine message board (hint hint)

I've been told he's a fan of that fine ganja as well as any other pharmaceutical he can get his hands on.

His views on religion leave something to be desired, but at least he believes strongly in them. I give credit to people who take pride and belief in something that strongly, even if they do make a jackass out of themselves in the process.

Talking to Active in person makes a lot more sense than via the messageboard. In the thread he comes off as a wanna-be philosopher whose arguments are vague at best. (And I must add, these are the type of things that give philosophers a bad name; most philosophy is extremely to the point and even agonizingly detailed and specific - why the public thinks general garbage is philosophy I'll never know.)

But, in person, Active clearly knows what he's talking about and carries on grade A conversation.

Yeah, I used to be friends with his younger brother before I moved. His dad is a cop, who likes like a total fucking badass. Like 6'3" or so, big muscles. But he's a state trooper, and state troopers are by far the chillest cops. I've always wanted to smoke w/ him, just to hear what weird/interesting things he'd say.

And it'd be nice if he could help me find any psychadelics...... (come on Active).

Back on the subject at hand. I have openly admitted that I hate AcTivE. I stand by these feelings, but feel that I should come clean on something: I do not know AcTivE.

We've only ever been around each other maybe once or twice for an hour or so. Neither of these instances were within the past 2 years either.

See, I base my hatred of him off of his vague and seemingly drug-induced waste-of-time posts (such as the ones in the thread posted by Repug). Now, I realize I'm being very judgemental just jumping right to "hatred", but the truth is, I'm a judgemental prick, so its really not out of character for me.

I honestly think if AcTivE and I hung out (not like one on one, but just at a party or whatever) I wouldn't have a problem with him anymore. I don't respect people who abuse their bodies with drugs, but at the same time, I'm starting to not give a shit about that.

So in conclusion, yes I agree AcTivE is a backwards-fuck, and yes I "hate" him; but I really think if I spent time with him in person I would think he's pretty cool. That is as long as he wasn't stoned or exhibiting any other symptoms characterized by low-life fuck-up druggies.

The reason he said that, was one of the reason's i posted it. And it's not a shitty post, it's an annoying one (apparently). I haven't even posted many grammar correcting posts in quite some time, until this one, and another reason i pointed it out was because of the irony of the error, not just the fact that it was an error. And it didn't fuck it up, it was going fine, until you just posted this.
