I hate when people, black women in particular, feel the need to blast poor quality music on their cell phones for all to hear. What is even more irritating is when they sing along. I have seen this phenomenon happen all day today. I saw the same black girl wandering around the halls singing along with her cell phone three separate times today. I just saw a class get let out, a black girl singing along with her phone on her way out, and another black girl who left her class later then joined in singing "Hero" by Mariah Carey.
Get a freaking iPod. |

RotD:
*THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO FAT CHICKS* I hate it that most girls rely on their "natural" ability to be thin and thats it. They have a decent body structure and metabolism, so they don't work out. I meet SO many women who feel they don't have to workout because they are already thin. This is false; it still makes them pretty mediocre, whereas even a not that hot girl with an awesome body can still be pretty hot and desirable. Let alone what attractive girls could do with a hot body...same goes for guys (no homo). The slightest amount of definition in a females abs, for example, increases their attractiveness exponentially. |

Even if you work out 24/7 and have arms like a lumberjack, if you're still eating crap and drinking beer and you have a huge gut, you are not a "muscular" body type. You are a fatass. I don't care if you have a 52 inch chest. If your gut is also 52 inches, you are a fatass. If your BMI is in the "obese" range (not merely overweight), I don't care how much you work out. You're fat.

Very true...I don't know too many guys like that though. And the ones that DO do that, don't claim to be fit...just usually fucking badasses. I know very few people who work out chest and arms and who are also huge who aren't tough motherfuckers...but maybe thats an older crowd. I'm used to the apathetic, 20 something crowd who is in relationships and have careers/school and think they don't have time or would rather spend their time drinking. Its pretty crazy how lots of guys can be all about working out in college, then as soon as they graduate the beer gut still comes. As far as I'm concerned, I hold everybody with an "average" body type to the same standard as myself, so they have no fucking excuse. Just pisses me off. Lazy, lazy people.

I completely agree with you guys on the above statements. I was hooking up with a chick for a while, that didn't really work out, but was thin/small build. She had a nice body, but overall was just kinda soft. If she would hit the gym a bit she would have a rockin' body.
diet is definitely the biggest leak i have in the fitness area. That and cardio. I really need to do more cardio. I used to be a tank-ass, as I at one point in life was 248. Now hover around 190 and look to get down to around 180 or so. |

AP Interview: Transportation secretary says taxing how much we drive may replace gasoline tax -- Newsday.com Shit like this is why I was such a buzzkill last fall while y'all were talking about how great Obama's speech was. I like the guy as much as anyone but these politics simply blow assholes. |

I'm pretty sure it'll quickly get smacked down as it makes it waaay to easy to get out of paying fuel tax. All you'd have to do is pull the GPS and leave it in your garage and you'd never have to pay. Not to mention the absurd infrastructure costs.

Agreed, but that doesn't mean that he supports every hare-brained idea that people in his cabinet shit out onto his desk.
I mean, you could nominate God himself as secretary of defense, but that doesn't mean the president would have to support every time the wacky old coot wanted to burn cities to the ground for fornicating. |

Oh the irony of giving tax credits and incentives to drive hybrids and then realizing that the funds aren't what they need to be, so now the TRUE incentive of paying less for gas (and gas taxes) gets stripped away. Notice it's the R's pushing this one since their gas-guzzling voters are angry they pay more for the roads than the greens and the D's.
