Yeah, only a huge badass would have guessed this final four perfectly. I think we can all agree with that.
In other news, the battle for the Golden N has come down to a select few people. Right now, there are 7 people who can, at first glance, win the entire thing (based on possible points & the points that the leader has); however, such is probably not the case (since those further down the board get their points from some of the same games that those at the top get the same points).
Assuming that each game is the flip of a coin (which it probably isn't, but, the way things have gone, it very well may be), there are 8 possible ways that this thing can end. If the tourney ends in each of the 8 possible ways, the winner would/will be:
Duke over Oklahoma St. = Gaz
Duke over Georgia Tech = Gaz
Uconn over Oklahoma St. = Elegy
Uconn over Georgia Tech = Trout
Oklahoma St. over Duke = Lethal
Oklahoma St. over Uconn = Lethal
Georgia Tech over Duke = Gaz
Georgia Tech over Uconn = Trout
An interesting note:
If Uconn beats Oklahoma State, Elegy will win with a total of 1050 points. I will be in second with 1040 and both BDH and Trout will be tied with 1030. That's pretty neat.
In closing, I'm going to win.
