let's bet on who can get her in the sack first...
then whoever wins will fall in love with her during their courtship...
things will seem fine for awhile, then she'll find out about the bet through a lesser stag...
she'll confront him (the winner, not the stag) and leave only to come back after realizing that although his intentions were initially malicious, true love was found and, after all, isn't that what everyone is looking for?
