When you say, "About to die" do you mean 30 seconds before or 2 years before?
If 30 seconds, I see no benefit to knowing. If 2 years, one could at least start taking chances in life and stop planning for the long haul. Though I guess the impending death could completely consume the individual and lead to their last years being full of insanity.
