Loser dude has writers, gf dumps him, and behind on rent. Ex-bro-in-law give him pill, NZT or something. Turns him smart, gives him energy, cures everything that ails him. Goes to buy more and dealer gets killed, but he ends up with dealers stash. Our hero becomes super like. Takes his talents to wall street where he comes out if nowhere to be bad ass trader and adviser to Robert de Niro. All kinds of bad guys try to get the drug and of course there are side effects.
Movie has a little of everything and was surprisingly enjoyable. You could do a lot worse. AP says check it out.
