Not that kick in particular, the act of kicking somebody in general. People die more often than you would think from single punches (landing on concrete is usually involved); once you decide to be dumb enough to fight, you've already taken on a huge risk that things can go stupidly wrong in a hurry.
I've been kneed and kicked to the face for what felt like several dozen times after being knocked to my hands and knees; busted my nose into a faucet of blood and gave me a concussion. It's just part of the whole stupid ordeal.
