A few days ago, my brother called me asking where my Magic cards were, as he and a friend wanted to break them out and play (btw, they're at dad's house in the top of the closet in my room). I was reminded of how awesome this game is.

Magic, if you don't know, is a strategic card game which many of us have probably played at some point or another in our life.

Magic is so badass. It's cheap to play and fun as fuck. Plus, there are a seemingly infinite amount of combinations of cards and decks. It's especially fun on winter nights over a christmas break when you don't have anything else to do.

If you've never played Magic, give it a try; I'm a fan, and I think you would be too.

Indeed! For all of you that haven't played before but are looking for some good activity to get into over the holiday, I would have to recommend it. It's a great strategy game. The rules are intuitive and with an experienced player answer questions it'd take no time at all to get the hang of.

The basic idea is playing a modified game of Uno, except with a larger set of unique cards. The cards are a twist of medieval Fantasy seperated like normal playing card in suits excepting 5 rather than 4 that are identified as colors. White, Black, Blue, Red, and Green, each with their corresponding strengths and weaknesses.

It's as great a game for the serious strategist as for those who'd have it as a catalyst for conversation or clever banter.

Great idea Pliedes. Tho, I won't be in warsaw over the holiday to join, anyone who thinks they might be interested should definately post.

Ahh...Magic. Motherfucking Magic the Gathering. It just so happens that a friend of mine and I stole two premade decks of Magic from K-Mart the otehr day. Some good cards arose out of those $16 worth of stolen merchandise, cards that I wouldn't have otherwise had.

While I hate strategy and gay card games, Magic is not at all like that. Imagine a fucking monster that eats the tits off of whores dressed in leather and spikes that were two feet long and you have a typical picture from a Magic card. Hell fucking yeh. I'll play anyone, even though I suck at it.
