He stabbed himself in the chest, a ninja move; Elliott Smith was a ninja through and through.

I probably would have gone the way of....staying alive. But either way, it doesn't matter, because the world has truly lost a wonderful musical artist....

It's funny, because I had 'Needle In The Hay' in my head on Tuesday....that's really really skeezing me out.

Anyway, it's kinda weird how 'Needle In The Hay' is used in The Royal Tennenbaums depicting a suicide scene, and.....oh man, this really really sucks.

And rla, did you have any of his albums? If so, which one did you like the most? XO will probably be my favorite of his....*sigh*....

Chuck: I didn't actually at first have any of his albums, just a lot of random mp3's. Recently, however, I obtained his XO cd, and I must say it is simply wonderful.

*sigh* indeed...

I'm very sorry everyone, I hate to be the bearer of bad news. Does anyone know about whether his new cd was finished or not?

Unfortunately, no. But it's possible that they'll be able to clean up what he did finish and release it.
