You aren't dumb if you bought The Sims. You're dumb if you bought the expansions for The Sims.

He did not simply "combine all of the video game's he's ever made". He blended the concepts of a few of his games into one incredible looking package. If this was all the games he made combined, you'd be playing as people. The scope of this game is fucking amazing. Not like the one-dimensional gameplay of The Sims. A game where you start out as a tiny organism and end up as a galactic curator of sorts, while doing everything in between, is tremendously impressive. Being able to decide the evolution of a species that you create, shaping the behavior of a society you built, engaging in diplomacy between cultures, space travel, terra-forming... the list goes on and on.

Also..

"super-glorified tamagotchi"? You're a fucking retard. This goes way beyond tamagotchi not only in concept and scope, but in complexity and entertainment value.

After watching the second vid, wow, that guy is a far superior juggler.

Just as he states in the written part in the second link, the average person doesn't know much about the "juggling community" so something as "simple and basic" as what Bliss did looks pretty badass to the average person.

I wondered the legitimacy of Kimbo since that vid had emerged in the backyard fight where he busted that guys eye open hardcore. Gannon beat Kimbo's ass, and that fight was so disorganized, Kimbos boys would step in when he was getting choked out and say that he couldn't do so. Kimbo obviously runs out of gas pretty quickly in the vid, maybe with some training he could eventually be a contender, but until then, he'll just be an internet celebrity.
