I've never heard of a high school class in the thousands. It could have been a typo and meant to be 100 or 110. In addition, this class could cover a university requirement for an "Arts" class.

Okay, find me a university course that has a title as vague as 'Arts' and I might believe you, but I doubt it. "1100" looks like a schedule code for an eleventh grade course, or hell maybe it's even referring to the time of the class. This is a ridiculous argument anyways, and you're wrong, because even if it WERE a thousand-level class, whoever it is is sure not writing at that level.
