Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing.

Here, have a dose of perspective: The Pulitzer Prizes | Feature Photography: Archived Images
If you can go through each of those and not at least have to fight back tears...you have no soul. |

Yeah being honest I didn't see too much emotion-wrenching out of that post. It sucks, i mean poor kid, but maybe if the dumb white trash bitch (she's clearly white trash btw) would have kept her legs closed after she couldn't afford to raise her children/have insurance anymore, then he would never have been born and wouldn't have to go through all that. Funeral procession was almost laughable.

Oh my God! I think that photodoc taught me something about myself. I thought I was about as close to a heartless bastard as they come, but I cried a little at the caption on the second to last (or third to last) photo. You guys have clearly set the bar higher (lower?) than I knew possible. I mean, really Blonde? Wow.

I don't have a soul, either. I can't believe that was Pulitzer Prize worthy. The photo quality wasn't even that good.
It's like spending 24 hours crying during the Jerry Lewis telethon. Which I do, but only because that's 24 hours of potentially more entertaining shit that got lost. |

So I browsed a few other Featured Photography winners, and they're all a bunch of hospital-ridden hospice patients. Whether it's kids, adults, whatnot.
I also found this for you emotional softies. This kid makes the one you're crying over look healthy. EDIT: There's also a bunch of poor, starving, dying (black) people. |

*Dislikes ham
I had a cousin about 8 months ago who finally lost his battle with cancer or some such shit. He was 9 I think, been sick his whole life. If I'd just had the foresight to take a couple of pictures I could have won Pulitzer Prize. FML.

Cliffs: Kid gets his right arm/most of left hand + other bits blown off in Iraq. Because of his spirit, some troops put together some fund for him and he and his dad end up getting shipped to Oakland. He's had 30+ surgeries and is as good as he's going to get (which is healthy). Over a year later, after their redtape shit cleared, the rest of the family came over. Pictures of them reuniting and of the kid clutching the ring he bought at walmart for his mother as he runs toward her were touching. Of course, I'm not a complete demon. Most of you wouldn't find them nearly as touching. In the picture Fruit attached, he was self-conscious about his looks after he saw kids coloring staring at him, so workers attached a sharpie to his stub. This helped. | |
