It really is incredible. I completed the last mission last night. I've never completed all missions in a GTA game before. I generally get around half way through, lose interest, and start going crazy on my own. The storyline in this one is far too good to do that, though.

There are still quite a few other campaign-type items that can be done. I've only completed the main storyline missions (69 of them). There are 3-4 other categories of items that contribute to the game being 100% completed (most of which I probably won't give a shit about).
That said, I currently have around 30 hours into it and overall completion is 59%. |

The game isn't perfect, and I could do without some of the obvious political messages...that shit just really annoys the hell out of me.
But the gameplay itself isn't perfect. For example, if I do some crazy shit like ride a 4 wheeler down the side of a mountain at full speed, and I hit a rock and go flying through the air, I'm fully aware that it will kill me, but I'd like to see my guy go flying, smash into the ground, etc, before getting a game over. This game doesn't allow for that, which is quite disappointing. |

PS4 is good because it's the top tier, and, as such, gets the attention from developers. Games do definitely look better. But, at this point, it's new enough that, unless you're super hardcore and going to use the few new features that it offers (party chat, easy ways to share screenshots or video of games, probably quite a few other things that I don't care about), it probably isn't worth the cash.
Feature-wise it sucks. It can't do many things the PS3 can do. That includes streaming from networked devices and even playing music from any source other than their own Music Unlimited. That means no spotify app (don't think ps3 did that either, though), no mp3s in attached usb drives, even no playing music cds. That part is more lame because it's so transparent what they're trying to do. In short: It's a completely fine machine for playing games and definitely a step up from the PS3. But, aside from saying, "Holy shit, that looks fantastic" right when you boot up select games for the first time (the "holy shit" factor wears off pretty quickly on a game-by-game basis), it isn't going to really knock your socks off. For doing anything other than gaming, it's going to need quite a few system updates before it competes with the PS3. |

Evidently a big firmware update is coming out soon that will add some functionality here. I think the only thing above that changes is that you'll be able to play music (mp3s) from an attached usb device in the background while you play games or do anything else. Still sounds like a negative on streaming stuff, though.

Destiny game review.
Pretty solid game. Massive gun fights with aliens and demon robots. It does so many things good. When I see games like this, where they do so many things right, I can't help but think about what they could have done to take this from a top 20 game to a top 5 game. -more classes and customization -much more in depth skill trees -better facilitation of cooperative multi player interaction -better story This game could have been amazing but it falls short in many ways. It feels like it doesn't know if it's an MMORPG or some type of level based FPS. It should have been quite simply an FPS MMORPG, and it fails to bring the two types of games into the special something that it could have been. It's still great, and I am having lots of fun shooting things. |

This is nearly identical to what I've heard others say about the game. Pretty damn good, but could have been epic.
I know DDT got it recently as well. It's a shame he's too good to frequent these parts as I'd like to hear this thoughts on the subject. |

HOW ABOUT THE GAME OF LIFE, GUYS?

Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing.
