Social security is bullshit. It's welfare for old people. You get it whether you're rich or poor, and you get it for damn near 20 years nowadays. Anchor the minimum age to the life expectancy. When you're ten (eight?) years away from the life expectancy finish line, social security kicks in, but only based on need. Bill Gates gets a fuckin social security check. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I'd say only about $.25-$.30 of every social security dollar that gets distributed should actually be distributed.
The above two things will single-handedly more than solve this country's excess spending problem... but that doesn't mean they should only stop there. Stop giving kids dirt-cheap loans and grants to go to any-old college where they'll get any-old degree. Incentivize universities to actually be worth a damn by not supporting kids who want to go get their Alcoholism Degree at State University thus further throwing their chances of learning individual responsibility out the window. You're poor and you want to go study something technical like computer science or engineering? Maybe we can help you out. You want to go to Arizona State to study Art History? Go fuck yourself.

McCain will end the war "responsibly" lol. You want to talk about drinking the kool aid? Your dumb ass buys into his bullshit rhetoric of "returning our troops home with honor." Give me a break. You can't FORCE democracy at gun point. The people over there hate our fucking guts and there's nothing we can do about it. We need to get our men out of there and stop sacrificing their lives and Iraqi civilians lives because stubborn old men in Washington have some romanticized idea about war. Study Vietnam and see how well "Staying the course" did.
McCain is a hawk. He's militant. The only thing serving in the military has done is made him see everything through a militaristic lens. He's a cranky, aggressive old bastard who will get us into another war with Iran, possibly Syria, and maybe Pakistan. Hell, under the Republicans we're already carrying out attacks in two of those three countries right now.
Our far right foreign policy has damaged our image around the globe and made us LESS secure. There are consequences for the kind of shit we're doing. If McCain wins we'll still be in Iraq four years from now.
But the thing that really pisses me off is what you think about education. You want to devalue something like art history because you're probably too stupid to understand and appreciate it. Getting an education isn't just about getting a job. You'd really deny some poor person aspiring to go to college because you don't value what they want to study? Go to hell.
