The Black Country is a Shit Hole

When asked I usually say that i'm from Birmingham or near Birmingham but this has always been a source of shame for the Black Country lad.

There's something i'd like you to know - arm no Brummie, arm Black Country.

Here are some facts -


1. Queen victoria was the first person to talk shit about us and shut the curtains on the train as she was passing

2. We have our own dialect, dialects aren't accents and apparently it's most similar to Chaucer's English. I've also heard many times that it's currently the most similar dialect to Shakespearean English.

Being from the Black Country is looked down upon by the rest of England, mention that you're from Dudley and people will usually display their best attempt at the dialect.

The borders are disputed, with most people probably wanting to be excluded from the area, but I think geological demarcations can be made.



Dent is a freak who spent too much time on the internet instead of interacting with his fellow scumbags, recognised that it wouldn't do him well early on and didn't really pick the dialect up.

Where on Earth are you from? Do you put the kettle on?

I think the biggest downside of these people is that they let the rest of the world spy on us and copy our shit, the place would be Wakanda by now.
