Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Jersey Island... all good places to move to if that Black Panther Obama wins the Presidency. God help this fucking country if its people are dumb enough to vote that radical socialist into office. If you actually have money (ie: NOT clueless liberals who feel guilty for being born white and think the words "profit" and "corporation" signify evil... cough, Repug), be ready to short American securities if that raghead motherfucker takes the Presidency. That's what these know-nothing leftist idiots don't understand... without those supposed "evil" corporations, there's no wealth with which to create jobs and opportunities for the "poor". Wal-Mart is a good thing, dumbass!
Seriously god help this fucking country. http://www.againstobama.com/2008/08/...he-lost-years/ |

Obama is racist. I can see him in his reverend wright church getting all worked up about death to whitey, agreeing like a sheep with everything that is preached while the national spotlight isn't on him.
mmmmmmmhhhhmmmmm, Praise the lord reverend!, mmmmmmhhhmmmm, oh yea!, mmmmmhhhmmmm, amen!, they gave us aids mmmmmhhhmmmm, you go reverend! The changling isn't going to survive the debates, can't wait for them. |

I'll take the bait.
First of all, why would it even matter if he is muslim? Why would it matter if he was a black panther? You're just scared. This is the same sort of bullshit propoganda the Conservative right uses all the time. Your post has no substance, it's just hate speech. The Republican party shot itself in the foot by being having most corrupt, evil fucking administration in the history of this country. And I don't think McCain would be AS bad as Bush, but he'll still be pretty bad. He's Bush lite. It will just be a continuation of the shitty situation we're in. Here's my problem. You seem to base your entire argument on money, you greedy bastard. Social issues are more important to me. The war is important to me. The environment is important to me. I can't wait until Obama wins. And if you don't like it, you and the rest of the cry babies can leave the country. Honestly, it's surprising to me you're such a hardcore supporter of the Republicans. Like it or not, the party has been highjacked by the Evangelicals. Check out the documentary: God's next army Scary stuff. |

Is every thing created soley for money? No, some people work for charity, but that work is the fruits of the labor of the mutually benefitial trade that allows literally every last human endever to exist. Ruin the freedom of exchange and you ruin the world, this is why all socialist countries soon enough run out of the reserves of production the government has looted and mooched from the productive people, in the false name of "social good" that creates nothing but misery.

So are you arguing that we vote soley on the merit of a canidates monetary policies?
You act like things are so swell right now with an administration that is a proponet of what you want (if I understand correctly). Look, I'm all for fiscal conservatism, but that doesn't trump my social liberalism. I'm much more willing to entertain a debate concerning policy than the kind of garbage UB throws out there, like Obama is a black panther muslim rag head. |

I'm not moving to prove some point, Beebs. I'd be moving because I would literally be saving hundreds of thousands of dollars by doing so. It makes economic sense to leave this country under an Obama administration. This isn't some "I'll move to Canada if Bush wins" type of empty argument that liberals were making four years ago.

Repug,
Agreeing to disagree implies some level of respect flowing between each party. I have no respect for you or your beliefs. Literally none. You're a dumb college kid who knows nothing about how the world works and is supporting some feel-good candidate while not even bothering to become informed as to what that candidate stands for. People like you are driving this country into the ground. |

Repug,
George Bush has been a very bad President. He: *Hindered scientific progress by banning stem cell research. *Lit $1 Trillion on fire in a war that got us nowhere as a nation. *Stood there cluelessly while the storm of the century ravaged one of the nation's largest cities. You and I are on the same page... George Bush sucks. Congratulations! You're right about something. The answer to this is not Barack Hussein Obama. |

WHOA there killer, wrong. He vetoed the bill to allow for federal funding for stem cell research keeping to the republican roots (the old ones, not the new ones) that government should stay out of private affairs and research. He did not ban stem cell research.

By not allowing federal funding to stem cell research, he effectively shot the plane down before it ever got off the ground. Thanks for being nitty though and distracting from the point of this thread.

Whatever who cares. Even if Obama wins and prices everyone out of working... maybe it'll be fun to live on welfare and sit around writing essays and masturbating all day. I shouldn't knock it until I try it!

I would like f3lix to pretend he is Joe Voter and come up with the 3-5 of the most important debate topics to him and start the thread. Examples like Iraq War, Economy, health care, which is the best candidate? Each topic is brought up one at a time. Each person has a maximum number of 3 posts to explain their position/attack the other. In each post each person cannot ask more than 2 direct or rhetorical questions. But the question must be answered in the next reply by the other person directly. The topics are first come first serve, the first "first" reply is a maximum of 300 words. It should be short, and to the point. If you get beaten to the first reply you have to edit your post to address the issues/question that the first "first" reply brought up. Posts after the first "first" reply can be as long or short as you would like. Each person's third reply cannot contain any questions, the third reply is time to wrap up your argument. Both of you seem to feel that you are well informed and capable of arguing for your side. I vomit when I watch TV pundits and refuse to watch them, but if you guys would have this conversation I would really be interested to read it and think it would be quite helpful. Not to mention it would be awesome if one of you made the other sound like an idiot. do the two agree?

I'll be the first to admit I'm not an expert, but I'll give it a shot. It could be fun. I'm not sure I like that F3lix gets to come up with the questions though. Maybe UB and I could each pick 3, for a total of 6 issues?

Six will take too long. Two each, imo. That or f3lix or ID or someone just picks 4 issues for us. I'd just assume do it that way since it doesn't matter what the issues are... this nigga is going down.

Believe it or not, the political and economic situation in the US actually was a factor in me moving to the UK. The founding fathers would weep to know that one day their citizens would choose to leave the US in favor of a less socialized and more economically conducive UK. The world has been turned upside down, and Obama wants to take the wounded America and punt it right off the edge of a cliff. I'm with you 100% UB, Obama scares the living shit out of me with how recklessly he seems to want to treat the American economy and how blindly people ignore it.
And please, if we are going to debate fiscal and economic policy can we keep the bullshit topics to the side? Muslim/racist speculation isn't important. I couldn't give two shits if the guy was a die-hard muslim. The real issue is taxation, spending, and a lack of respect for the economic freedoms which made America great in the first place. |
