The Five College Football Players who got sent plane tickets to come to New York City for this year's Heisman Trophey Presentation are:

Carson Palmer
Brad Banks
Ken Dorsey
Willis MaGaehee
Larry Johnson

Personally, I think these are the Top Five best college football players in the country. So, so far, these bastards haven't fucked anything up.

i think that are the 5 most deserving players, i cant think of anyone else that deserves to go.

i wonder what leftwich is thinking. i mean he played a game with his foot like broken and had his linemen carry him down the field. if i were him, id be feeling a little pissed off for not getting votes despite his injury.

...yeah, but Leftwich went up against quality schools like:

Ball State
Buffalo
Eastern Michigan

These are some of the reasons that his numbers look so good.

Personally, I'm glad he didn't get nominated, because if he had, one of those other five guys would have not; and that would have been a travesty.

I agree with Mr. Bastard. Perhaps Leftwich would have made a great 6th candidate...but he doesn't belong in the top 5. If he wanted to win the Heisman, perhaps he should have considered joining a team that wasn't Marshall...

after Banks getting AP player of the year, it will draw enough attention i feel to get enough votes to take the trophy home. The downside to banks getting it is Treve Alberts can be even more of a cock on ESPN.
