Maybe OSU instead of USC

Here's the rankings as they stand.

RANK TEAM RECORD PTS PVS
1. Oklahoma (63) 11-0 1,575 1
2. USC 9-1 1,506 2
3. LSU 9-1 1,428 3
4. Ohio State 10-1 1,389 4
5. Michigan 9-2 1,311 5
6. Georgia 8-2 1,202 6
7. Texas 9-2 1,145 7
8. Washington State 9-2 1,094 8
9. TCU 10-0 1,034 9
10. Florida State 9-2 967 11

I'm still holding out for USC.

And regardless of who Oklahoma plays, do you think anyone can beat them?

BigDongedHoe 11-17-2003 12:47 AM

Sorry Buckeye but OSU is going to get murdered by Michigan in the Big House. I think Michigan will take it to them pretty hard 14+ point victory.

With that being said I believe OU / USC is this years National Title Game.

buckeye 11-17-2003 03:36 AM

If OSU wins out OSU plays oklahoma, OSU loses USC goes plain and simple.

Ill go ahead and let everyone talk up the game before hand, i'm confident in the outcome.

They're not that tuff this year buckeye. I call Michigan winning it this year. And btw, do you remember that bet we made? Haha, im such a fuck, I never paid up. I owe you.

bert 11-17-2003 03:47 AM

TCU, all the way,... not really but funny shit

buckeye 11-17-2003 03:50 AM

Anky, its not like the Buckeye's defense is rated higher than they were last year. You also called Michigan winning last year, and Miami trashing OSU by at least 14 and look how close you were to being right both times.

Pliedes 11-17-2003 03:50 AM

I'd like to see TCU play Oklahoma. Sure they technically have a better record, but what a slaughter it would be

Ugly Bastard 11-17-2003 03:50 AM

I'm putting my chips on USC joining Okla in the championship game. I actually won't mind watching this one...even though Okla's gonna kill em, I still like each team enough to give a shit to watch.

No matter who they play, they're going to blow them out I think.

St. Anky 11-17-2003 04:07 AM

Point taken Buckeye. Either way, Okla is gonna tear it up, USC and Okla in the championships? Definately.

SdotCOTT 11-17-2003 04:09 AM

After Ohio State kills M*ch*g*n next Saturday they will go to the Sugar Bowl to beat Oklahoma. Even thoughit hasnt been pretty they have always found a way to win in the past and will continue this to become National Champions for two years in a row.

Pliedes 11-17-2003 04:11 AM

I must admit, I have a strong feeling that OSU might actually win the Suger Bowl... sorry Buckeye, I'm probably jinxing it for you.

buckeye 11-17-2003 04:13 AM

With Tresselball there is no jinxing.

Out of curorisity did anyone watch espn college gameday saturday morning?

Cocktooth 11-17-2003 04:18 AM

Ohio State has got to be the luckiest team ever in the history of college football this year....completly lucky....but its sad cause they will be lucky again when they play mich...and will end up playing for the national title

What happened?

SdotCOTT 11-17-2003 04:26 AM

Your crazy if you call Ohio State lucky. How can you call it luck when it continually happens? They have lost only one game in the last two years and none of them have been blowouts becuase that is the style of football they play. Tressleball is what we like to call it in Ohio and it works so don't knock it.

buckeye 11-17-2003 04:30 AM

Lucky?? I think that is the only reason anyone who hates Ohio State can come up with as to why they keep winning.

from espn.com

Tressel is smart to base his offense on a powerful ground game because he knows he can always recruit dominating offensive and defensive linemen, allowing him to play ball-control, field-position football. Add a well-coached kicking game and you have a time-honored method of winning, especially in a cold climate in which it may be difficult to throw effectively in the latter stages of the season

Its not like the ball bounces his way everytime, luck in football is good preparation for any given situation at any given time, and executing that preparation effectively. Tressel does a great job of preparing his team, that is why they can pull of what many other teams cannot.

Well i was wondering if anyone noticed brittany spears in the purdue jersey, it was the only thing a purdue fan did during my three hour stay that i found amusing. Everything else they did made me want to kick their ass, they are quite possibly the gayest fans ever. Their typical comeback to everything we said was either...

1. You guys lost to wisconsin
2a. We have better academics! (good thing this is a quiz bowl cocksmoker)
2b. We'll be the ones with jobs.

Also on a sidenote a michigan fan decieded to show up at gameday, and the entire crowd was ripping on him. We would sing the "Michigan" song, and the crowd would chant asshole. He had a sign with him which was stolen and set on fire. Perhaps the funniest thing was when he pissed in a bottle and threw it over the front railing. A gameday setmember looked at it and said to him, "That is the finest water michigan has to offer, we'll see you in two weeks bitch."
All in all goodtimes on football saturday.

Cocktooth 11-17-2003 04:37 AM

they have won like 3 games by 3 points..they are lucky...they are good but more lucky....and they jumped usc in the bcs by the way....

That's hilarious.

buckeye 11-17-2003 04:44 AM

Yep will a win is a win, and by now i'm used to winning tressel stye by slim margins, i dont need my team putting up 77 points every game so the alumni can go and suck each others cock and rant about how good the offense is. If i have a team that puts up the "W's" ill be a happy buckeye, and a happy buckeye i am.

Pliedes 11-17-2003 04:58 AM

Last year the buckeyes escaped by the sweat of their balls in many a game.

Lets put it this way the first time is luck, the second time is bullshit, the third time is just skill. It's pretty evident that Ohio State has a little more than luck when they win these games its something called SKILL.

Holy fuck you have those problems too? To bad when I go to an IU football game they can't say "we have better academics." Purdue fans have always and will always be the most unknowledgable fans about ever single sport in the Big10. I can't fucking stand to sit through one more football or basketball game with Purdue fans within 10 ft. of me because the constant bitching and complaining combined with how fucking obnoxious they are is to much to handle.

Fuck Purdue, jewish bastards.

buckeye 11-19-2003 02:48 AM

yep, well they really cant say that they have better academics than us, we have a much larger university, and are more deserified than them. Its also funny how our engineering team holds the world record for the fastest electic car, of course beating out their car.

But i agree with you 100% BDH, given their teams preformances they are unusually cocky, and they have nothing to back up their talk other than who they've beat recently. It was probably the worst 3 hrs of my life standing next to them. Also their cheer "Boiler UP," which i'm sure you've heard more than me, pisses me off like none other, that and their fucking homo whistle that accompanies it. I cant wait till their football program goes back into remission so i dont ever have to put up with shit for another 30 years.

Cocktooth 11-19-2003 03:36 AM

yeah considering they should have lost last week if purdue's kicker isnt a complete fuck....and i seemed to remember like week 2 or 3 they had a game with bowling green....good offense yes...but bowling green plays miami...miami wins by 30
