That post was one of the dumber posts I've read in a month. As for the game I think it'll be great, if DJ White was back I'd feel more confident and would even call IU a favorite (not on paper but in my mind). With him out we'll have to hope Marco doesn't slip into foul trouble. If he doesn't I think we can pull the upset and hopefully we do to beat not only duke but Josh McRoberts. If there is ever a soft gutless crybaby that motherfucker is it.

IU is ranked 16th, has a fucking solid team (especially when DJ White comes back from his injury), and is poised to make a strong run the next two years. Tonight they have a shot to knock off the #1 guy at home. I am very excited. Edit: Oh yeah, and what Beebs is talking about... the movie was about highschool basketball not about Indiana University at all. [ November 30, 2005, 03:00 PM: Message edited by: DJ FC ]

Let me clarify my feelings about everything:
Every year we have this thread (Yes, yes, I know the same applies for my Cubs threads, but those are mostly done in tilt-excessive jest). And every year, the same couple of people, (namely BDH, and FC... in the past pliedes) tell everyone how wonderful IU b'ball is and how they have a "real chance" this year, blah blah blah. I'm just waiting for something that you guys say to come true. I mean... I'm all about unbridaled fanhood, but at least lighten it up a bit if you're always going to be wrong. It makes me nausuous reading all of BDH's super-serious "IU is the greatest thing ever" posts when year after year they come up short (albeit some years not nearly as short as others). -UB |

I think Ohio State's mauling of Notre Dame will be January 3, 2006.
In fact, there should be a forum dedicated to nothing but the greatness of The Ohio State University football. I seriously think Ohio State would beat Notre Dame by about 30. |

I have repeatedly told others that I do not know anyone who is a bigger fan of a certain athletic organization than Ryan Munsch is as an Ohio State Football fan. -UB

Are you all fucking serious? I don't care what anyone says or does I have been an IU fan since birth. Before I left the hospital I was doused in a cream and crimson hat and blanket.
My blood runs cream and crimson I bleed this shit, and tonight after IU orally and anally penetrates Duke I'll get to see that same cream and crimson blood drip from them. I've talked up IU in the past or been pumped for a game but IU is legit this year for a Big10 championship (some would say they are favored at this point) and a run at an NCAA championship. My Prediction for the game: IU 85 Duke 79 I think with D.J. White in the lineup IU is one of the top 5 teams in the country. btw, for all going to the hall tonight get some sort of Darell Arthur chant going. He flew up from Dallas to catch the game and would look amazing next to DJ next year. [ November 30, 2005, 05:41 PM: Message edited by: BigDongedHoe ] |
