Are you serious? We got absolutely blown out by Ohio State simply because we led for 8 min. doesn't mean anything.
I personally cannot wait to go to Bloomington this week-end to watch the IU Michigan State game. 6 family members, my girlfriend, and I are going down to watch the game and it could be a program changing game IMO. If we beat Michigan State that puts us a 5-4 and a victory over Minnesota or Purdue away from a bowl game (I think we'll beat one of the two for sure if we beat them). That would be our first bowl game since 1993 and lead to big things the next two years. Our schedule is taylor made for a Rose bowl run in 2008. In 2007 and 2008 we drop Ohio State and Michigan from Big10 play and pick up Northwestern and Penn State what a fucking trade off avoiding those two for the next two years. We also only start 4 seniors this year and are completely led by freshman and sophomores which will definitely add up to a good run in 2007 and hopefully a very good run in 2008. |

That's still 8 minutes longer than then No. 2 University of Texas. It was pointed out about 1000 times on ESPN that Indiana lead at one time. Just poking fun the reporting.
No worries though, it'll be no time before basketball season. Bloomington will be on fire now without the dead weight of Mike Davis holding them back. Too bad about Oden and Darrell Arthur going elsewhere. Oden is only in Columbus for three months of college ball. Why ruin a perfectly good draft status by actually playing the game. Astute kid. You're also better off with Arthur at Kansas. Great exhibition player, not so great when the games counted. If you were wondering, yeah, SOC games were regular local news clips here. |

I've heard the guy was lazy as hell. I think most of his scouting reports read something like "unbelieveably talented but needs a fire under his belly". Personally all the talent in the world doesn't makeup for somebody who eats, breathes, and sleeps b-ball (see Tom Coverdale vs. Charlie Miller).
I watched the IU/OSU game so I didn't get to see outside reporting. |
