Who of you would be interested in a cash pool for tourney brackets this year? Similar to what we did with the soccer shit, I think $50 an entry is fair. Not similar, I don't think there should be a limit on number of entries.

Post if you'd be interested and how many entries you'd like if so. If there's decent interest, we can get this bitch off the ground. Cash will need to be paypal'd to me before the tourney begins.

And, spurred by UB's suggestion, but probably anyway since we do every year, this tournament will also act as the Golden N competition for the year. Anyone is free to add one free entry to the group for their Golden N hopes.

Not doing this will mean that your least successful entry will be your Golden N entry.

I'm in for one entry. I think we should allow people to play for free and compete for a Golden N though too. We'll just segregate the paid entries from the free ones.

Additionally, I'll go $100 heads-up against anyone who wants to pit their final total number of points against mine. But if your name is jerad shaw, I need your $100 prior to the start of the tournament and I'll send you $200 if you beat me.

Fair point. If a participant buys more than one entry into the paid bracket, they must specify the Golden N entry prior to the tournament's start. Otherwise, their Golden N entry is their least successful entry.

I'd participate if this is the case. As much as I'd love to win some money, or at least try to, there are far more knowledgeable/experienced betting men that I know will embarrass me.

Also, are Golden N's only being given out once a year these days? That's sad. Seems like there could be far better reasons than March Madness for such a thing.
